The simple response is yes you can.  AssuraCar offers peace of mind by giving you a first approach layered defense to utilize against vehicles you simply do not want to keep when they arrive at your dealership.  As long as there were no known or previously announced conditions that would disqualify the vehicle from program usage it will be accepted into the 21 day buyback program.

Yes, all vehicles qualify as long as there were no disqualifying previously known mechanical issues or any major disparaging disclosed items at time of vehicle acquisition.  Other than announced condition exclusions, the main disqualifying events would be if the vehicle has a major drive train malfunction or physical condition/appearance change after intake to your system that would cause the vehicle’s value to drop substantially due to the issue presented.  We recommend that your team submit a return request in all situations to let the AssuraCar program work for your best interest.  If a return request is denied we will still offer solutions to help you mitigate any loss that might arise from a disqualifying event or situation.

Payments are processed with urgency once the vehicle return request has been validated by our team.  There are 2 ways for vehicle returns and payment processing to be completed: the first is by bill of sale acceptance from your team to ours with payment being processed to your preferred account (internal or flooring provider) within 48 hours of validated return; the second is by remarketing provision that we utilize to help our clients secure more money for their vehicle return than simply having the vehicle paid off.  The remarketing option guarantees the same payment release upon title delivery and validation within 48 hours (payment issued by the auction directly to you or your flooring provider).  If the vehicle produces a higher return through one of our partnered auctions the extra sale proceeds are passed along to you.  In the event where the vehicle being remarketed brings less than your original vehicle acquisition price, we pay you the difference within 48 hours of sale based on the liability limits listed in our program terms and conditions.

Vehicles with previously known mechanical issues or vehicles that have not passed through a mechanical inspection are disqualified from drive train mechanical reimbursements.  This mechanical protection program is designed to pass along peace of mind to your bottom line by offering financial assistance when the unexpected issue is presented after your vehicles are presented to a retail buying base and given a clean bill of health.  It’s the same philosophy and process that is in place when you present your retail buying customers with a vehicle protection plan or service, items that are previously known or current at time of sale are disqualifying. 

All plans have a max reimbursement limit of either $5,000 or $3,500 depending on the program elected for your vehicles. 

The AssuraCar team will reach out to verify the repair concern, once mechanical repair concerns have been validated a payment will be processed and sent to your team typically within 48 hours.

There is no limit to the amount of claims you can submit.  We want your team to utilize the full benefit spectrum of your plan provisions, however more than usual drive train reimbursement requests will be flagged in our system and may cause a denial of program allowances if intentional abuse is uncovered.

We only need your original invoice or bill of sale showing your purchase details and total purchase price or ACV for the vehicle you are submitting for a buyback provision.

We encourage you to utilize the program to you benefit at all times, you will never be flagged or penalized for submitting buyback requests as an AssuraCar customer.

The buyback provision is calculated based on the actual purchase price or ACV including any auction buy fees attached to your vehicle purchase.  Reconditioning and transportation expenses do not qualify for program reimbursement allowances.

Once you submit your buyback request a member of our team will reach out to discuss the next steps.  In most situations, and depending on designated program allowances, AssuraCar will either arrange transportation to pick up your vehicle or we will have you deliver the vehicle to the auction facility of our choice and will cover the expense of that transportation unless otherwise stated.

We include the lifetime remarketing allowance to help you move on from vehicles that your team decided to keep for retail sale opportunities and then didn’t see those vehicles turn into a retail sale opportunity.  Sometimes you have to cut bait and move on.  There is no limit to the amount of vehicles you can remarket in our program, and regardless of your auction sale fee schedule we will cut you a check back for the difference of your sale fee versus what your stated max sale fee is for your elected AssuraCar program.

After your plan provision expires on your vehicle you still receive a buyback allowance when your are finally ready to move on from that aging vehicle.  Simply submit your buyback request in your dealer account portal and our team will reach out with a buyback bid amount that is still above market value.
